<div dir&equals;"ltr" style&equals;"text-align&colon; left&semi;">Controlling print job spooling can increase print speeds&period; To do so&comma; select Settings &vert; Printers from the Start menu&period; When you do&comma; you’ll see the Printers window&period; Right-click the network printer you want to work with and select Properties to open the printer’s Properties sheet&period;Next&comma; select the Advanced tab&period; The tab may vary slightly depending on what type of printer you’re using<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There are two options about halfway down the page&colon; Spool Print Documents So Program Finishes Printing Faster and Print Directly To The Printer&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I recommend always spooling the document rather than printing directly to the printer&period; The process of printing directly from a program is much slower than spooling a print job because the program sends the print job to the printer at the same time it builds the print job&period; Sending a print job to the spooler usually completes in a matter of seconds &lpar;depending on the size of the print job&rpar;&period; Once it has been sent&comma; the program assumes that printing has completed&comma; allowing the user to continue working&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Clearing Print Spooler can speedup printing speed <&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Please follow the steps below&colon;Clear spool file<br &sol;>&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;<br &sol;>1&period; Stop the spooler by doing the following&colon;<br &sol;>&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;<br &sol;>a&period; Click Start &comma; Settings &comma; Control Panel &comma; Administrative Tools &comma; then Services &period; <br &sol;>b&period; Scroll down the list of services for the Print Spooler&period; <br &sol;>c&period; Right click Print Spooler and click Stop &period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>2&period; Delete the spool files<br &sol;>&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;<br &sol;>a&period; Open My Computer&period; <br &sol;>b&period; Go to C&colon;WINDOWSsystem32spoolPRINTERS &period;<br &sol;>c&period; Delete all of the files inside of this folder&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>3&period; Restart the spooler&period; <br &sol;>&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;&ast;<br &sol;>a&period; Click Start &comma; Settings &comma; Control Panel &comma; Administrative Tools &comma; then Services <br &sol;>b&period; Scroll down the list of services for the Print Spooler&period; <br &sol;>c&period; Right click the Print Spooler and click Start&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Change the spooling format<br &sol;>&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8212&semi;&&num;8211&semi;<br &sol;>Set the spooling format to RAW&comma; and then try to print directly to the printer instead of spooling the print job&period; To do this&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi; a&period;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi; Click &&num;8220&semi;Start&&num;8221&semi;&comma; point to &&num;8220&semi;Settings&&num;8221&semi;&comma; and then click &&num;8220&semi;Printers&&num;8221&semi;&period;<br &sol;>&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi; b&period;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi; Right-click the printer that you are using&comma; and then click &&num;8220&semi;Properties&&num;8221&semi;&period;<br &sol;>&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi; d&period;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi; Set the default &&num;8220&semi;Data type&&num;8221&semi; to &&num;8220&semi;RAW&&num;8221&semi; for both &&num;8220&semi;WinPrint&&num;8221&semi; and &&num;8220&semi;ModPrint&&num;8221&semi;&period;<br &sol;>&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi; e&period;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi; Click &&num;8220&semi;OK&&num;8221&semi;&comma; click &&num;8220&semi;OK&&num;8221&semi; again&comma; and then close the Printers dialog box&period;<&sol;div>&NewLine;
