1. Enter privileged exec mode by entering enable (you may need to enter the password)
2. Display the devices unique device identifier (UDI) by entering the show license udi command
3. Display the contents of the flash memory by entering the show flash command
4. Display the current license features by entering the show license feature command
5. Check if the datak9 license currently enabled?
6. Install the IOS feature license by entering the license install flash:2901_License.lic command
7. Reload the router to enable the use of the newly installed license by entering the reloadcommand
8. Show license feature to confirm if datak9 is enabled, License is installed if datak9 is enabled.
1. Enter privileged exec mode by entering enable (you may need to enter the password)
2. Display the current license features by entering the show license feature command if datak9 is enabled move to step 3 if its disabled move to step 4
3. Move into configuration mode entering the configure terminal command.
4. Disable the use of the datak9 on the device by entering the license boot module c2900 technology-package datak9 disable command.
5. Go to privileged exec mode by entering end.
6. Save the configuration by entering the copy running-config startup-config command and reload the device by entering the reloadcommand.
7. Login to device privileged exec mode
8. Remove License by entering license clear datak9 command, confirm by typing yes
9. To Confirm use show license featurecommand. Datak9 should be disabled
